Lyrics

Dangerous Line

Taking a chance, into town
Once in a week affair
Got to go out and get me some bread and wine
She comes up right behind me
In a supermarket queue
I'm turning around just to catch her looks

She's got an air that's so attractive
And takes away my breath
I've never met the like of her before

She now stands too close for comfort
I got to keep out of her reach
Hope she doesn't take another step
It's a dangerous line

I've locked myself out of sight
From people on the streets
Trying to keep my hands and face so clean

She now stands too close for comfort
We got to keep each other apart
Hope she doesn't take another step
It's a dangerous line

Postscript

Paradise Shifts--- It gets loud in the middle.
Transition - Phase 1--- No drums. The lead guitar is PRS Custom 24
played through Tech21 Sansamp "California".
Transition - Phase 2--- With lots of drums and percussion this time.
The lead guitar is PRS Custom 24 played through Tech21 Sansamp
"California".
Transition - Phase 3--- This piece is composed entirely of software
drums and synths. No guitars in this one.
Thirty Years On (At the End of 2018)--- With a lingering scent of Showa.
The lead guitar is PRS Custom 24 played through Tech21 Sansamp
"California" with Pigtronix "Philosopher's Tone" in front.
Dangerous Line--- I’ve actually written the lyrics backwards, from
the last two lines of chorus to the top of the verse. Watch out!
Still Too Early--- I have been working from home since the beginning
of March to avoid Covid-19 infection. The Japanese government has
declared the state of emergency on 7 April. It's 28 April today, and
there is an apparent decrease in the number of reported cases of
infection in Tokyo from two weeks ago. It's also the beginning of the
Golden Week.
But the World Goes On--- This one is a sequel to "Paradise Shifts".
